We hope this e-mail finds you well.
It has been a while (over a year!) and we wanted to update you about the Malawi Bicycle Ambulance Project. As we’ve been meaning to do for weeks and months, we wanted to send an update on our progress, thanks to the generosity of our family and friends.
Large containers from the United States arrived at The Children’s Hospital. These containers brought needed medical items, furniture units, construction and business supplies as well other numerous items including Beanie Babies to be given to the young patients. Good Shepherd Sunday School collected Beanie Babies that were included in one of the containers.
The Children’s Hospital in Zinga, Bagamoyo, Tanzania, is opening it’s first building, the outpatient unit, ready to welcome those in need. Other buildings in the complex such as birthing, x-ray, surgery, lab, pharmacy, etc. will be completed as funds provide.
7 Good Shepherd men served lunch to 99 students at the Mankato Lutheran Campus Ministry on September 22. Thanks, men, for representing us well and helping out at Crossroads Lutheran Campus Ministry!
